During your stay at the camp you can choose from a number of large triple lodge style tents
, made of waterproof cloth and wood or from the smaller but still spacious tunnel or dome style classic tents
from well-known brands such as Outwell, Robens Salewa and Terra. Of course, you can also stay in your own tents.
The large lodge style tents
have a total area of 17m², private bathroom with shower, electric lighting, double bed, a single canapé-lit, two nightstands, a small corner desk and outdoor camping table and chairs. The smaller classic style tents
have 2,8m²-13,3m² area, one or two rooms and single beds. They have shared bathrooms and showers in a central building of the camp.
All of the tents have 12V lighting located on wooden bases to keep it away from the ground and moisture. These tents include nightstands and outdoor tables and chairs. Pillows, sheets, blankets, towels and other amenities can be provided for an extra charge.
With a capacity of 72 persons, Wild Nature Eco Camp spans 27 acres of forested mountainside, just 1 km southwest of Meronas at an altitude of 650m. The entire camp is covered by hundreds of years old oaks, shady sycamore trees and olive trees.
The chapel of St. Nicholas (16th cent) with its beautiful frescoes stands in the center of the camp while nearby fresh clean drinking water gushes from a stone fountain.
The infrastructure of the camp includes a main office, reception room, kitchen, café, lounge, laundry room, common bathrooms, sewage treatment, fire fighting system, a first aid centre, seating in shaded areas and large open spaces for events and outdoor activities!
--Breakfast is served at the camp, while dinner is taken in taverns in the nearby village of Meronas or in other villages of Amari valley. On our daily excursions lunch is offered either in a traditional taverns or it is served in the form of a picnic. The ingredients used for our meals are exclusively local products and of the best quality
--The camp serves as a B class camping (EOT 1344-14-0017) from early May to late October. The excursion offered by the camp to the surrounding areas are organized by the “Wild Nature” agency specializing in eco-tourism (EOT License No 10-39-E-70000-100-700)
